


Family Health Services of East Central Ohio welcomes new Executive Director
Ashley Washburn is the 4th Executive Director in the agency's 53-year history. She has been with FHSECO for 4 years and is excited to serve her community!

Elaine Ramey
Elaine Ramey was born in Zanesville, Ohio. She has spent her entire life in Perry County. Elaine earned her associate degree and then her bachelor's degree in nursing from Ohio University, Zanesville. She completed her master's degree in nursing through MCP Hahnemann University in Pennsylvania in 2001. She is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health.
Her entire nursing career has focused on Women's Health. She has done work in both private and clinical practice and spent two years working with infertility patients through Ohio Reproductive Medicine in Columbus. She has worked with Family Health Services in all 4 locations, Licking Muskingum, Perry, and Fairfield counties, since 1997. For the past 15 years, she has also worked with Project Hoffnung, a community-based program to provide breast and cervical cancer screenings to the Amish community throughout Ohio.
Every day she is grateful to work at a job she loves. Elaine is a mother of 4 active children who keep her very busy outside of work. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her children at sporting and 4-H events.

Amanda McClelland Bio
Amanda McClelland was born and has lived in South-Eastern Ohio for most of her life.  In 1997, she earned her associate degree in nursing from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee.  She has worked in various areas of health including public health nursing in Peru, on multiple units in the hospital on med/Surg, Ortho/Neuro, and CCU.  She found her passion in nursing when she started working in Women's Health in 2004 in Labor and Delivery, Post-partum, and Lactation departments. Amanda completed her bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2014 at Muskingum University and then her Master's of Nursing in 2017 at Kent State University.  She is a Board-Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and a Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. `
Amanda’s clinical interests lie in patient-centered care and patient education. She strives to create an inclusive practice for all people to feel safe and a part of their healthcare. Prenatal health, family planning health, reducing infant mortality, adolescent health, LGBTQAI, and minority health care professional areas of interest.
Amanda is happily married to her high school sweetheart, and they have four daughters. She loves to read in her spare time, attend loud concerts, and has a travel goal to visit all 50 states and 7 continents. Having been to 45 states and 5 continents so far.
